ST meeting...
Had my ST meeting last night at Applebees. Good food, good meeting. I think we got a lot done. We where there for like four hours. No Cam this week, which is nice in a way. I could always use a break...

So today, this guy calls in to report a place he used to work at for software piracy. Not even 10 minutes into the call he says
I have an ST meeting tonight at Applebees for the Camarilla. It's long over due so I hope we can get a lot done. :P
"Yeah I think software piracy is as wrong as two men having sex with each other,Grr I say. I put him on hold right after. Call it a "bigotry penalty hold". Anyways, after that I got a bunch of info, I got to the point where I need the companys name and address annnnd he whimps out. So I got to hear some homophobe rant for 20+ minutes only to NOT get the report and hurt my stats. yay.

Blah I say
I thought I might shoot for some sort of an update. I made a post the other day on my LJ that was sort of me venting in a way about a person who has been annoying me for a long time, I've decided I think he is a bigot but if I called him on that I'd be burned at the stake. He helps run a podcast I used to really enjoy but I have since decided him and his partner don't really have the community in mind so much as them self’s and along with that are very judgmental and are well, bigots more so toward religion really badly with the LDS church. I guess some gays feel the need to hate religion because some religious people hate them? I thought hate didn't stop hate? Last I checked you responded with love but what do I know? I've only been a lesbian Mormon for years now.
Anywho, life seems pretty non stop these days. Work, home (game on Tuesdays and everyother Thursday and last Friday of the month which started this month before it was every Tuesday and Thursday and last Friday of the month.) sleep do it all over again. Somewhere in there I play Wii Animal Crossing. Weekends are more gaming and sometimes baby sitting. The demon sometimes drives me crazy and I want to shoot him out of a cannon or something. I think I need a weekend either out and doing something I don't do much or a weekend in with nothing to do what so ever. Not. bloody. likely. However I do have Mythic Realms this weekend, maybe that will go well? I don't have working weapons and the guy who is supposed to make them for me has been out of contact. yay.
On another note I found out the other day a friend (friend? maybe) of mine tested positive for HIV. Well he is gay, so I am not to surprised. And I feel bad as the gay tends to think in dooms day terms as it is. Than I thought about it a bit more, I've never actually personally known anyone who has HIV, I've decided it's a little weird. I mean I know I can't get anything from him like coughing on me anything like that but it still freaks me out a little. I'm sure I will get over it but still....

I went to Vegas last week, that was fun as hell. I went down for NeonCon, they had a LARP section that the Las Vegas domain for the Camarilla was hosting. It ran Oct 29-Nov 2nd, which meant HALLOWEEN IN VEGAS!!! My local Domain prompted to skip ICC to go to this as it was cheaper, closer and on Halloween.

I went with Stacie, Don and Futch, there where two other cars. We got there around 4pm Thursday, checked in than rested for a bit before gambling than walking the strip. Treasure Island looked very cool from outside, I didn't get to see the show though which make me sad. I did get to see the water show at the Bellagio, that was pretty cool. After walking the strip for a bit we all meet up at Planet Hollywood and hopped on a bus and headed down to Fremont Street,
the old strip. The 10+ of us loud and a bit drunk must of been friggin obnoxious on the bus, the locals seemed to not notice us and the tourists sat on the other end of the bus, must of been freaked out. Once we got to Fremont I got lots of free beads and booze while playing penny slots. Than got a massive drink of yummy mudslide doom. Once we had our Yard drinks, Cocktails (I feel like a lush) and beads, we headed back onto the street and watched the ceiling thing show video of hot chicks in sexy Firefighter uniforms. Sex doesn't sell in Vegas, not at ALL. The entire time my buddy Jared freaking out cause he wanted to go to his first strip club and we where all watching the ceiling. A random guy tried to give us "free" stuff, we ran away as he was creepy and nothing is free in Vegas. We went into the strip club, it was a nice one too. We all sat on the runway thing and watch pretty cute girls, okay looking girls and leather faces dance naked for us, I went through my $10 in ones pretty quickly. Stacie and I where the only ones who did not get a lap dance, I paid $20 to get in there, I was just going to sit back and watch. Erin blow $40 on two girls, Jared $200 on two girls (but won it back the next day, and Mike blow $400 on one girl. You can tell the boys had issues holding onto money. However, Mike did throw up on the stripper, I think he gave her more cash cause he felt bad. After the strip club we all stumbled around drunkly in other casinos and eventually made it to a cab and back to the hotel. Mmm drunken sleep.

I woke up very early for being up till 3am. Very slowly got ready and went down to the Circus, Circus buffet. I had a huge plate of food than my hang over hit. Suck. I didn't eat nearly 10 bucks worth of food, oh well. We walked down to the shop area and saw Ben and Erin they ate and said to hold up and we could all do the tourist thing. Mike ended up meeting us too. We went to the M&Ms store and the Choke a Chola store. Much stuff was bought. We went to the MGM to see the Lion Enclosure, it was closed. Anger! We did end up going to the Secret Garden and seeing Lions, Tigers, Dolphins and Lamas, oh my! Went back to the hotel, got ready for game and went to Vampire. Game was slow and I was tired. Went back, changed eat cheesecake and bed.
Saturday Nov 1st
Breakfast, than Changeling. That was a lot of fun, I met Juliet from the Vegas game, I've know her through online RP for ages now. The game was crazy fun and Gerri lost Morality. At break went to Lunch, back to the Hotel and changed for the next Vampire game. Vampire rocked, Ze've almost reset the local venue. Went back to the hotel, packed, ate dinner than crashed.
Sunday Nov 2nd
Checked out, loaded stuff into the car, checked out the Luxor than home. I will have to say the Luxor looks huge, than you go inside and it's friggin tiny. I was angry at the lack of Egyptian type stuff, everything was just pyramids.
I didn't get to go to any shows which made me sad. No rides, also sad, and I didn't get to take my time, sad. I will have to go again with just the chicka. It was a blast all in all and all the saving and being broke for months so we could go, SO WORTH IT!

Wow I am tired. It's been a long week for me. Due to personal issues with a player in the Camarilla I had a stressful time. But It should be pretty much worked out by this point. yay. Oh! BTW The Salt Lake Camarilla was one a local newspaper! Thats my girlfriend and good friend and I all mentioned in the paper. Exciting!
World Horror Con went well. We had a lot of people stop and talk to us about the game and what they needed to do to play near there location. There was some local recruitment but over all it was just recruitment for the game in general, for all over the world. It was a long day. 9am till 7pm. Non stop. Oi.
